Progress Report #2.8: Bad News Edition

Oh boy, I expected to maybe not have the video ready yet but what happened is actually somehow much worse. As you might (or might not) know, I work in the video games biz. At the start of this week that has just passed, it was announced that we are starting mandatory overtime (AKA crunch) 🙆‍♂️ It's an unfortunate norm in the industry when close to release (and in some bad cases even when really far from release). The good news is that in this case it should HOPEFULLY only last for 1-1.5 months. The bad news is that... I have basically almost no free time, apart from a couple of hours per day and Sundays 🙂 Usually, a video doesn't get done on time because I'm a lazy bastard, but now I don't even have time to be one.

Even if I somehow manage to finish the video while on this schedule, it will be realistically impossible for me to make another one during this period. Therefore, for now, I have to announce a temporary stop on video production. I will TRY to finish and post the one already in the pipeline since it has a good amount of progress, but more than that probably won't happen until the crunch is over. I will also stop posting updates until then since I won't be making any meaningful progress and it will be pointless to report. Sorry! Of course, I'll resume once this all blows over.

In somewhat random news, I got a new microphone 🤷‍♂️ since the old one was making a weird crackling noise that would happen completely at random every 5-30 minutes and RUIN parts of the audio. I've wasted so much time re-recording voice lines, and I've tried basically everything to fix it, and at this point can only say: F*ck Razer Seiren, all my homies hate Razer Seiren.
